Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2025
Flarity by Flaresense Inc (“Flarity”, “we”, “us”) provides AI-powered insights to help you manage your GI health. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Account info (name, email)
- Wearable/device data you connect (e.g., HRV, sleep, activity)
- Optional notes/symptom logs you enter
- App diagnostics (crash logs, basic analytics)
How we use data
- Generate personalized insights and risk estimates
- Improve model quality and app reliability
- Communicate service updates and support
On-device first, private by design
When feasible, processing happens on your device. If cloud processing is used, we minimize what’s sent, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and retain it only as long as needed.
Sharing
We don’t sell your data. We share only with service providers who help us deliver the product (under contract), or when you explicitly ask us to (e.g., sending a report to your clinician), or when required by law.
Your choices
- Access, correct, delete your data
- Export a copy of your data
- Disconnect a wearable at any time
- Opt out of non-essential emails
Data retention
We keep data only as long as necessary to provide the service or meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use industry best practices, encryption, and access controls. No method is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our safeguards.
Children
Flarity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll post the new date above. Material changes will be clearly communicated.
